What is a Story Garden?? At WPDL, it is a pathway through nature, which has been enhanced by the planting of flowers and story kiosks. Now after many long years and a lot of hard work, the Story Garden at the White Pine District Library has opened! There will always be work to be done and we encourage all that love gardening to ask how to join the Seed Library Group at WPDL, we could always use your help. As a part of the 2026 Dinosaur Summer Reading Program theme, the garden walk has a fun dinosaur book on display. The garden is located to the North of the WPDL. Please feel free to wander and read. We would like thank all who have donated to purchase plants, dirt, building supplies and so much more… thanks to Sally Chapin, Michelle Coe, Lynn Jensen, Fred Keson, The Bobber Shop, Susan Blonski, Barb Millard, Penny Gachter, library staff, library board, Elmer & Pam Gregory, CM Community Foundation, Patty Rockafellow, Michael & Betsy LeVand, and Bernard & Kay Rasmussen.
